Clinical Trainer


Clinical Trainer (Therapist)- $3000 hiring bonus available -Full Time
Hiring Range: $61,526.40- $76,897.60/yr.

The Clinical Trainer is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive clinical training program that incorporates, supports, and encourages a trauma-informed culture and evidence-based practices for all clinical roles across the Agency in support of our mission.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Direct training of all clinical staff on treatment planning, clinical case notes, clinical documentation, and clinical electronic record training.
  • Work directly with the Utilization Management & Review Manager to identify and interpret trends from clinical chart reviews. Recommend, develop, and implement strategies, processes, and training for individuals, teams, and larger groups based on the findings of these reviews.
  • Conduct ongoing training needs analysis and develop appropriate action items to include the development of training materials.
  • Assess the effectiveness of all training initiatives through effective employee feedback strategies.
  • Provide clinical and system consultations to support competency and ensure integration of training into daily agency practice, focusing on practice improvement strategies, including sustainability planning, outcomes monitoring, and quality improvement support.
  • Work closely with department and team leaders to establish an ongoing essential learning curriculum for all clinical staff.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to support and reinforce the deepened integration of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder services and integration of physical health and behavioral health, including co-morbidity impacts, across clinical teams.

Experienced (minimum of 2

years of job-related experience)

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Seriously and Persistently Mentally Ill and Seriously Emotionally Disturbed individuals and families across the lifespan in outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings.


Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration (can be obtained after hire).

Preferred Qualifications:


Specialist (minimum of 5 years of job-related experience)


Washington License (LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC)
