Clinical Supervisor - $3000 hiring bonus available - Full Time
Hiring Range: $74,443.20 - $93,038.40/yr.

New Journeys is designed to support clients through their first two years of recovery, providing family education, resilience-oriented therapy, employment support, peer support, and case management to help clients manage their symptoms while achieving their personal goals. The program is designed to serve clients between 15 and 40, with most clients expected to be 18-28. A KMHS prescriber will provide medication management to clients served by the team.

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Direct the day-to-day clinical operations of the care team, and provide administrative coordination as needed with referral sources.
  • Ensure that the quality of care meets fidelity standards for the New Journeys care teams statewide.
  • Participate in the comprehensive assessment of client needs to ensure person-centered treatment planning.
  • Work with clients and their families, providing education about psychosis and how to manage it, improving communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Oversee data collection through clinical tools and protocols designed to measure key indicators of progress in treatment for this population.
  • Assist clinicians in performing their duties by overseeing and participating in clinical coordination/problem-solving between clients, clinicians, and other agency programs and community resources. Coordinate crisis intervention with the Crisis Response Team, Crisis Triage Center, and other providers as clinically necessary.
  • Participate in monthly training provided by Washington Health Care Authority First Episode Psychosis Program and the University of Washington. Consult with their program director and receive support for program development as your team starts serving clients.
  • Maintain a Trauma-Informed Care work environment focusing on using Recovery Based Language in written and verbal communications.
  • You will receive ongoing assistance and supervision from the KMHS Director of Special Programs, a licensed LMHC, and SUDP.


Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Psychology, social services, or a mental health field.

EXPERIENCE: Intermediate (minimum 3 years of job-related experience)

Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license with an acceptable motor vehicle report and reliable personal transportation.

LICENSURE: Agency Affiliated Counselor

Preferred Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE: Specialist (minimum 5 years of job-related experience)

Business-rated insurance may be required if performing outreach duties.

LICENSURE: Washington License (LICSW, LMFT or LMHC)
